The performance, which was organized by the Meynell Guild of Social Service, began at 7.30 and ended at 9.30. The first part consisted of scenes from Faust, the second part of a miscellaneous programme. The youngsters, who ranged from five to twelve years old, acquitted themselves creditably, and were rewarded with warm applause from the audience. The items in the second part included songs and dances, recitations, and a brief play.
