Modern headline: Award for scientist who brought space to millions

Alongside Alongside hi, the new planetary scientist announced his views on space to the British public, in 1903, in "Space and Time". Alongside hi, O'Donoghue has set himself to clarify the puzzles of space, in a series of lectures and books. In 1903, he began to expound the new views in "Space and Time", which describes how the universe can be grasped in thought, and how its parts can be brought into relation. He has followed that up with "The Universe", now in its fifteenth edition, and "The Stars". His latest work is "The Moon". O'Donoghue's lectures have been broadcast from many stations, and his books have been published in several languages. In 1909, he lectured in France, and in 1911, in Germany, and has lectured since in most European countries.
